That was my plan. I just worry that it's not worth summoning at that point. I tried a Noble Rider deck out on Lackey, and I just kept playing Sigma Dragon when I could've played Noble Rider.
Maybe just weird hands, though.

It's worth summoning. It's got effects wqhen Sigma doesn't, less material, less specific material, and more support for just a little less STK. Seems like a good trade.

I may be including the Orb Spirits in here - remastered versions of my Spell Beast CaCs for Yugioh. The sketches are looking really nice. If I do make them, however, there won't be nearly as many Orb Spirits as there were Spell Beasts.

Well, my first sketch looked a bit too much like Tetra Dragon, so I tried to change it during colourshopping. Also, I didn't have a reference picture - dragons being fictional and all. As I said, it's not bad, it's just not as good as the others.

No. Themed traps are tricky, because the Cancel trilogy basically takes care of everything. Also, Traps in Shmod in general are much worse than Yugioh traps - being able to activate them during your opponent's turn doesn't make up for not being able to use all of your Mana during your turn.
But, I did manage to make one themed trap (not Orb Spirits, but still):

Oh, my, god. That creature is simply stunning. Negates Spells, high ATK, protection... and yet all balanced by the summoning condition.
The field Spell is quite nifty. I like it as well.
