I have Vampire King, which I've been waiting to post until I finish Vampire Queen, the Halloween card, quite a few sketches, half a chapter of The Shmod Saga and I've been helping you clean up Naardaas. All while juggling the vast amounts of work that each of my four University-level high school classes need me to do.

I've also been adding pages to the Shmod Wiki and have half an Ancient Legacy set done.

And by the way, what have YOU done? You've given me one drawing in the past month or so and it's not even a new card.

(For example, you could pick EARTH, and Panda Shogun wouldn't be able to switch your Art monsters' battle position. ...It just occurred to me how few monster effects actually affect opponents.)

Interesting. Palace of Blood is a Demon Skull. The royal bloodsuckers seem cool.

Okay, here's a fairly speedy update. Basically, I was drawing Noble Dragon on my math handout, and then I figured I'd draw Leric...

Pretty much, in an alternate timeline, the various elements were at war. Leric found some sacred sword of fire that gave him the respect of all dragon-kind. This allowed him and Noble Dragon to charge together into battle...

Long as it works out better than the Eragon movie, I'm happy with it. The effects are balanced by having to run unrelated cards, so it's fairly balanced. Cool concept. And the chinese dragon pattern adds quite the effect.

True. Plus there's the idea of sideboarding, or just make a deck devoted to this card. It's a (C), a Noble Dragon and a Leric. It's by itself powerful enough to be a deck centre.

EDIT: It now dawns on me that Leric is now the first Virtual with both a (T) and a (C) monster form.

The only true drawback is that with Spell Immunity you cannot equip it with Spells. This means that your opponent cannot Yoink it, but if they play a stonger monster, Noble Rider cannot surpass.

That's not entirely true - Noble Rider has some very interesting ways to use Spells.

Ah, yes. He can use Dragon's Fire and Golden Flames, being they don't actually affect him. I forgot about them.

The only other thing - not so much about the card's powers, but what it is - I doubt it will appear in the Saga since Tyson doesn't have Leric. He might have Twisted Fusion, but not likely given his style of play.

Tyson probably HAS Leric (being a common from Force of Dragon), but I don't have any plans for Noble Rider in the Saga. Just a for-fun card.

I was considering it, but it's harder to draw and I wonder how many of these Rare slots I can afford to use up on for-fun cards. I mean, if I do Masumaru the Fated Rider, I'd need Isis the Mountain Rider and Squwee the Water-Doesn't-Have-a-Representitive Tadpole.

Not at all. Other than two very Specific Spells, which prevent it from attacking, your other Spells are useless to it. That prevents i from being over-powered by outer means. Besides, there's still Monster Bash to bounce it, Cancel Attack/Dodge to stop it, or a stronger monster can be played to demolish it.

Yeah, but what I'm concerned about is its first-turn power, not any other point in the game. I mean, what do you do first-turn if your opponent has a 4350-ATK Spell Immune monster? Not to mention next turn, it'll start double-attacking. You'll be half-dead before you can beat it.

If it's pulled off first-turn, there's nothing the opponent can do anyway, Destruction Spells start at LV2, and by the time one can be played, it's already dealt damage. What I'd do were I you, would be to bump Monster Bash up to 2 (if not for this for something else). And if that doesn't work, then I'd change it to say "Immunity to LV1 Spells" or something.

I don't want to mess with the Limitations to deal with one card. And the Immunity to Level One Spells idea means that it can't use Dragon Fire or Golden Flames any better than Noble Dragon or Leric, which was the whole idea.

What I meant was, normally I'm the one making that arguement, and you're the one trying to quash it.

The only think I can think of for this Rider is "On the turn this card uses [Golden Flames] or [Dragon Fire], it gains Spell Immunity." Although that's probably too long.
