Shonen Jump Subscription PromosNormally I don't post every new piece of Yugioh information, but this is good for you Dragon-players. The next Shonen Jump Subscription Promos are...
Red-eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Dandelion
Red-eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
DARK/10/Dragon/Effect/2800/2400
This card can be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 Dragon-Type monster you control. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster except "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" from your hand or Graveyard.
Dandelion
EARTH/3/Plant/Effect/300/300
When this card is sent to the Graveyard, Special Summon 2 "Fluff Tokens" (Plant-Type/WIND/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position. These Tokens cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon on the turn they are Special Summoned.
Good luck getting your Darkness Metal Dragons!

Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is one of the best dragons you'll ever see. If we get Vice Dragon now, you can get 2 huge dragons on the field before you even normal summon. That's huge. And the best part is, I'm probably gonna get one of these in a few weeks. Plus Dandylion, but I'm not fond of it.

Aarikku
Vice Dragon? Meh. Just swarm with the ginormous dragons like Dark Horus and Tyrant Dragon.
Naardaas
No, Special Summon Vice Dragon to remove for Red-Eyes Darkness Metal.
Aarikku
I know, but spending Vice Dragon, Red-eyes Darkness Metal, a card to Special Summon AND a Normal Summon eats up your hand like crazy.
Naardaas
I can agree with almost everything you've said, but for Metal Dragon's effect you can summon one from the Graveyard as well. Making Trade-In that much more fun. Mwuhahahaha.

...I was going to comment about how the disagreement with my statement was based on something I didn't even mention, but I think one completely unnecessary useless debate at a time is enough...

I was guessing you meant a card to be Special Summoned from the hand. My statement was based on the idea that if you sent a Dragon to the Grave first, that's 1 less card from the hand. But that's not important really. Swarming is the point, and Darkness Metal does that splendidly.

Again, never been in dispute.

Know what's interesting? We haven't even mentioned Dandylion. Most fan sites are buzzing with ideas for the little weed, but we're focused on the less liked of the two.
Aarikku

We don't play Plants. Big Dragon > Little Plant.
Naardaas
True, but we're talking about the specific cards Dandylion and REDMD.
How are you gonna get your hands on these cards?
Aarikku
Probably eBay or something. That's if I feel like getting them - the only Dragons I really like are Horus and Blue-eyes. Archetype-ish dragons don't benefit as much from Red-eyes Darkness Metal as others.

Well, I happen to be a subscribing member of Shonen, and I just recently renewed my scrip. I dunno what to do with Dandylion, but once I get Red-Eyes I'm making my Dragon deck. With a twist.
Aarikku
See? You can't stay away from dragons for long.
Naardaas
Is that a crack at my enjoying dragons? 'Cause it's not that pathetic.
Aarikku
No. It isn't.
Naardaas
Then that's a good point.
Aarikku
T'was why I said it.
Naardaas

Do you think either of these cards will be limited in any way? 'Cause I predict Dandylion will get Limited or Semi-Limited (since it creates easy Tribute fodder), and REDMD Semi-Limited for its power (almost RaiDa-like, isn't it?).
Aarikku
Dandylion IS limited. EDIT: Rather, in Japan. So it'll get emergency-limited. Red-eyes might get Semi'd or something if it becomes a problem... but it'll have to top a Regionals first.
Naardaas
True. But that's not hard. When you can easily bust out 2 2800+ dragons in 1 turn, add a Trunade, Storm, Stamping... your opponent ain't doin' too well.
Aarikku
Versus a free 2800 Dark Armed Dragon that instantly blows up three cards on your opponent's field? Or Gladiators - fuse for Gyzarus, destroy 2 cards, de-fuse into Darius and stuff to revive more Gladiators... it'd be tough competition.
Naardaas
I'm not saying it wouldn't require work. All I'm saying is that REDDO-AISSU DAKUNESU-METARU-DORAGON has the potential to do some real and significant damage.
Aarikku
I agree. But you asked if it would be limited, not if it was good.
Naardaas
A fair point, a fair point indeed - but isn't it being good that gets cards Limited or Banned?
Aarikku
No, it's being unfairly good.
Naardaas
More accurately, it's being good to the point of being abused. That's how United We Stand got banned; with Scapegoat, a 4000 point boost was too easy. Same with Breaker, Magician of Faith, and every other banned/limited card.
Aarikku
So you agree with me.
Naardaas
I do. I'm just being more precise.
Aarikku
But you've randomly changed your mind, which is odd.
Naardaas
No I haven't. You've just misread my messages (not my posts).
Aarikku
Your posts encompass your message. If I've misread them, you've miswrote them.
Naardaas
My point is, I've never changed my mind.
Aarikku
You went from "Red-eyes Darkness Dragon will be semi-limited" to "Red-eyes Darkness Dragon is good, but not unfairly good and it is being unfairly good that gets cards limited".
Naardaas
No, you said that. I stated why I thought that, then we got into a side-topic of what got a card Limited, and I haven't said anything about REDMD since then. When I said I agreed with you, I was referrring to what got cards Limited.
Aarikku
You need to be clearer.
Naardaas
I will try.
Anyway, you decided whether you want REDMD yet?
Aarikku
No, but I'll take Dandylion. I've got an idea.
Naardaas
You trying for the Plant deck or somethin'?
And how are you getting it? Ebay?
