I've combined your threads because it's too much effort to jump around the forum finding all your support.
The first thing I notice about your cards is, incidentally, the first thing you've written.
LEVEL TWELVE?!?!?!!?!
That's more than TWICE the highest Level of a non-Fusion in the game currently, the unusable Chaos Liger. And what do you get for your Twelve Mana?
Either a monster who has 0 ATK while your opponent doesn't have any monsters or a monster with 0 ATK while you don't have any tapped DARK Mana.
You also forgot Levels on the Spells.
So, good try, but 12 is way too high a Level and the effects really aren't that good.

Fair EnoughI have made modifications from the original cards to include the new texts.

One other thing -
| Quote: | | This card remains in play after its activation until it is destroyed. |
We do have Continuous Spells in this game.
|

|
I'm BackI've already posted the erratas.

One more thing...The last card in the series:
(Level Three) Apocalyptic Nightmare Blood
Continuous Spell
Effect:
All level 3 or higher monsters gain 3000 ATK. During the end of the turn in which a Post-Apocalyptic Dragon monster destroyed another monster, discard 2 cards and draw 2 cards.

Okay, let's see what I can do here (again).
Your refined Levels seem to be good for the Dragons - but I feel that Level One is far too low for Naardaas Bluude, which gives them full Immunity and screws up opposing strategies.
Shrodinger's Bluude also needs some sort of restriction. A higher Level's the easiest one, but you could make it only search out Spell/Traps, thus making the Mana harder to use. Or, have the Mana return to the deck during the End Phase.
Your new card, Schlodercaan Naardaas Bluude annoys me. Not only does it give some monsters which should already have high ATK bonus points that are higher than almost any monster in the game, it also uses the term "Drahondes Sclodercaan-Atredus" monsters. This is exactly why monsters have categories.

SorryAgain, I have already erratad them.

What do you mean 'biting your head off'? If I give you no opinion, you go emo. When I do give you an opinion, I'm biting your head off?

OkNot the best choice of words on my part, so I see your point. What I meant was that at this point, a simple "Yes or No" will suffice, and I will try to balance the cards until you see them fit to become actual cards.

It's official...Us see-sawing back and forth has made this the longest page on The Shmod Forum.
|
Aarikku
|
Uh... just FYI: these aren't going to become actual cards. The names are confusing, they're basically the Wicked Gods of Yugioh except Dragonized. The Level Seven guy's invincible by Battle, which isn't the greatest for a game where there's only around 4 cards that destroy monsters, three of which conditional.
Plus, there aren't any pictures - I couldn't put them in if I wanted to.

I.N.D.Y.I've invested too much into these dragons to let them flop now. I'll do whatever it takes to see they become a part of your game, even (metaphorically) saw my arm off. Whatever they need, I'll do it.

Aarikku

Start by drawing some pictures. Put incredible effort into 'em. Make these guys look just like your mind does.

Final Errata(Level Seven) Post-Apocalyptic Dragon - Naardaas (Dark)
Category: Naga Dragon
Effect: When you summon this creature, place all other creatures you control in your Mana Zone. This card has 2000 more ATK and DEF than the strongest creature in play or in the {Cemetery/Graveyard/Discard Pile} other than "Post-Apocalyptic Dragon - Naardaas". If this creature would be destroyed, you can send 3 Mana to the {Cemetery/Graveyard/Discard Pile} instead. While you have "Nightmare Blood" in play, this creature has immunity to Creature Effects, Spells and Traps.
ATK: ?
DEF: ?
(Level Five) Post-Apocalyptic Dragon - Bluude (Dark)
Category: Dragon
Effect: This card's ATK becomes the number of your Dark Mana cards x1000. While you have "Naardaas Bluude" in play, this creature has immunity to Creature Effects, Spells and Traps.
ATK: ?
DEF: 1000
(Level Three) Nightmare Blood
Continuous Spell
Effect: Select 5 Mana cards each player controls, and they cannot be used. Also, neither player can attack with any creature with fewer than 5000 ATK.
(Level Three) Dr. Shrodinger's Blood
Spell
Effect: Select 5 random cards from your Deck. Your opponent places 3 in your Mana Zone, and then removes the other 2 from play.
(Level Five) Apocalyptic Nightmare Blood
Continuous Spell
Effect: All Level 3 or higher monsters gain 3000 ATK. During the end of the turn in which a "Post-Apocalyptic Dragon - Naardaas" or a "Post-Apocalyptic Dragon - Bluude" destroyed another monster, draw 2 cards and discard 2 cards.

All right! The effects are almost game-worthy - to the point that I'd copy, paste and slightly modify them before sticking them straight into the plugin.
You get some pictures, and these guys are in.
|
Aarikku
|
Hokay. I tried sticking the first guy on a card, and I couldn't even fit the first two effects on it with the standard text size.
I'ma have to shrink the effects to get these guys onto actual cards.
|
Naardaas
|
For anyone asking questions:
1) "Drahondes Schlodercaan-Atredus" means "Dragon of Post-Apocalyptic", but due to Aarikku I changed it to "Post-Apocalyptc Dragon"
2) "Drahondes Schlodercaan-Atredus Muoltanahs" has been removed from the category. The proper part of the name has been reassigned to "Muoltanahs, Dragon of Lava, who will be a Fusion Monster. The stats and effect are different, and I won't tell about them until I see fit to produce them.
|
Aarikku
|
You probably should post them - if it's ridiculously cheap when combined with specifics of the Post-Apocalyptic Dragons, I'd like to know before the components go into the game.
|
Naardaas
|
Don't worry, Aarikku. It hs nothing to do with them now. It requires a fire monster and "Boulder Dragon -Stahnas", who is also unrelated.
|
Aarikku
|
You're gonna have to post them at some point if you want them in the game.
|
Naardaas
|
I will. I'm simply tring to get the PAD cards off my plate, as well as the Metal Dragons, first.
|
Aarikku
|
Well, three of your cards are now in the game. (I didn't include Naardaas, because its picture looked like an acid trip)
|
Naardaas
|
Point taken, and thanks.
|
Aarikku
|
Oi, you think you could edit the first post with the finalized versions of these guys?
Thanks.
|
Naardaas
|
For months this post has been left ignored, but no longer.
Marcel, my main antagonist, uses these cards during his games, and during his epic duel with Marc he uses Transmutation.
|
Aarikku
|
Didn't we have a discussion about the insane levels of your dragons?
Ten is TOO MUCH. Six is the highest in the game right now.
|
Naardaas
|
Sorry 'bout that. I was thinking about something else when I posted that. It was suppost to say Six, and it does now.
|
Aarikku
|
And using two Level 6's and one Level 5 for a single monster makes me think that it just plain won't be worth it. Or will be so uberly powerful that it'll never see the light of day.
Can't you just make regular non-ridiculous cards?
|
Naardaas
|
I plan to, oh Lord of Lightning. These are powerful because they are cards for a main antagonist; if I gave my main evil dude weak cards that would remove the drama. It works better if the Hero has to fight hard for a win than if he just beats the bad guy down in a few turns.
|
Aarikku
|
Yeah, but you have a habit of making themes based on way-too-powerful, or at least way-too-high-level monsters.
|
Naardaas
|
Fair Point. I have plans in place for weaker themes.
Remember the Fox theme I listed for Michelle? The strongest card is level 3, and before you ask, 2700 base ATK. For those scorpions, none higher leveled than Deathstalker. And while other cards will be needed for the Post-Apocalyptic theme, none will exceed Level three (P.A. Shaman, Soldier, Phoenix, etc.).
|
Aarikku
|
Just don't go overboard on boss cards. The foxes and scorpions sound good; I'll add 'Scorpion' to Deathstalker's categories.
