What can I possibly say that isn't blatantly obvious?
This card comes with fairly high ATK for a Level One. While it's no beat-stick, it can easily summon one with its effect. Next, it can use that creature as a Whirlwind that can also kill face-downs. Late-game, several copies of this card are devastating.
This card is actually Shmod's [Breaker the Magical Warrior], a card that was banned due to its power. This thing is even more powerful to a devote EARTH deck.
All and all, 4.5/5 is the very least I can give it.

When I'm uninspired, I tend to try to invent cards based on what would help the game. A while ago, I tried to create one deck based on each Type of Shmod - without archetypes.
Earth and Metal were by far the weakest. Earth had less than a handful of themeless monsters, and Metal had about... one. So I decided to help the two out. So that's where the idea of Geo Elementalist came from. For an effect, I elected to try something that was rare in Shmod - Spell/Trap destruction. This card, I decided, would allow Earth decks (themeless, Panda or Desert) to take on the powerful Arena-based decktypes of Frogs and MetaDragons.
What I came up with was perhaps overkill. It has swarming capabilities (namely for the relatively low-level Pandas), a high ATK that can be boosted higher (Earth has the greatest selection of ATK-boosting cards in Forest and Jade Fist) and the ability for Earth-based decktypes to rid their opponents of Monster Bash.
Naardaas compared Elementalist to Breaker, a Yugioh monster similar in the basics. Both are easily summoned Spell/Trap destroyers. However, Elementalist is more balanced. Not only does it only work in an Earth deck, but it requires a Tribute. Finally, Spell and Trap cards are of far greater importance in Yugioh - you can easily win without a single monster. In Shmod, they are backups.
I'll give Elementalist a 4.5/5. It's a very strong card. An instant near-staple for any EARTH deck.
