The Scorpion archetype is a series from Shmod: Apocalypse that takes Desert to a new Level. They all have two Categries: Desert (for original support) and Scorpion. Note that some cards support Scorpions that are simply Desert, such as Camel Spider.

(Level Three) Emperor Scorpion (Dark/Earth)
Category: Scorpion · Desert
Effect: You can Scrap this card to play [Barren Desert] without tapping Mana. You can discard 1 Scorpion to play 1 Scorpion with a lower Level from your hand. It cannot attack that turn.

(Level Three) Camel Spider (Dark/Earth)
Category: Desert
Effect: You can scrap 1 Scorpion to play this card for 2 Desert Mana. If a this card or a Scorpion is attacked, Scrap 1 Scorpion and switch its mode.

(Level Two) Fat-Tailed Scorpion (Dark/Earth)
Category: Scorpion · Desert
Effect: If this card is destroyed with [Barren Desert] in play, destroy 1 card on the field.

Category: Scorpion · Desert
Effect: If this card is destroyed with [Barren Desert] in play, Tap 1 Desert Mana to destroy 1 Mana card your opponent controls.

Category: Scorpion · Desert
Effect: If this card is Scrapped with [Barren Desert] in play, gain 1 Life. All your Scorpions gain 300 ATK.

(Level Three) Whip Scorpion (Earth)
Category: Scorpion · Desert
Effect: While [Barren Desert] is in play, your opponent cannot attack another Scorpion.

Category: Scorpion · Desert
Effect: Your opponent draws 1 extra card during their Draw Phase. Scrap 1 Scorpion to negate a Spell with the same or lower Cost and destroy it.

(Level Two) Forest Scorpion (Earth)
Category: Scorpion
Effect: When you play this card normally with [Barren Desert] in play, Scrap any number of [Forest] cards from your Deck to have this card gain 500 STK for each one. When you play this card normally with [Forest] in play, Scrap any number of [Barren Desert] cards from your Deck to have this card gain 400 STK for each one.

(Level Five) Ancient Scorpion – Deinoscorpio (Dark/Earth)
Category: (T) Desert – Scorpion - Ancient
Effect: [Emperor Scorpion] with [Reverse-Evolved Form]
When you play this card, unless you control [Barren Desert], your life is halved. This card has 1000 ATK for each Scorpion in either discard pile, besides [Emperor Scorpion]. Once a turn, scrap up to 3 non-Scorpions and draw that many cards +1.

What do I keep telling you about archetypes? At least this one has Level Ones.

Your ratio's 3 Level One's to 1 Level Two to 3 Level Three's. A better ratio than the MetaDragons, but I still fear a Scorpion deck wouldn't have any good moves on Turn Two, save playing Barren Desert.

On the subject, I dunno if Pyramid Shrine would make this decktype extremely broken. I think it might.

Dude, I'm not done with the Archetype. There's still a few Scorpions left I plan to introduce, all of which are Level 1 (Except for Forst Scorpion; that's Level 2). And remember, you made Emerald Scorpion a scorpion.
