Not an easy cards to play. Just like Skeletal Knight, this card can fuse without Fusion Technique, but its material has their own summoning card. For Shadow Necormancy, you can dump 4 cards for a free spell that gives you everything you need; ya gotta tap 3 Mana for this card's material.
HOWEVER, this card can return its pieces to the field when it dies, making it easy to play again and again. And when it attacks, even Noble Dragon and Lightning-Armoured Chimera shall fall.
All in all, a good card, but kinda hard to play. 3.5/5 is fair. _________________ The seal on my existence is broken. My great dragon has arrived as pinnacle strength. It is, agreed, very hard to play. Ironically, because its materials are Colourless. Though this does allow them to be played with any type of Mana, including Spell and Trap, Colourless monsters lack a Statue Searcher and Cost-2 Revival card.
I do intend to rectify this with more Art support (keep your eyes peeled for a card I like to call [The Wizard's Pencilcase]), but that's not really the point. Currently, you need three specific, unsearchable monsters. All have to be on the field.
For your troubles, you do get a very nice monster. It can hit its way through any Level Three (and some Level Fours), and if destroyed, it will bring its pieces back. Though Pencilman won't give you a draw (I'll make another ruling), you do get the brilliant combo of Sharpenerman and Eraserman to grant your Art supplies 1000 more ATK than any foe. Chances are, though, you'll want to fuse them into another Artist Knight.
To finally break the formation of these monsters, all it takes is a monster and Sar-Chasm. Destroy one piece before your opponent's turn, and Artist Knight will be vanquished.
I'll go with 3/5. Naardaas summed it up - good, but hard to play. _________________

This isn't really a comment; it's just to put things back in order.
